I just bought an 87 Diplomat and the volt and temp gauges don't work. Since they are the only 2 gauges in the cluster I assumed they were bad. I took them out and tested them. They are both fine. Now I understand that the temp sensor may be bad so I'll check that. But why wouldn't the voltage gauge work. As far as I can tell all the wires are hooked up and it just seems fishy that neither of the two work. It used to be a police car and I doubt that has anything to do with it, but who knows. Anyone have any suggestions what I should do next. I'm new to mopar. If it were GM I would have been done long ago. Thank you
