Default Fuel Delivery?

I was wondering if anyone could give me any other information on a problem I am having with my '94 ram 5.9L? I have been having trouble(for the past month or so) with my truck cutting out really bad during acceleration when my fuel level is below 1/2 a tank! I thought at first maybe it could have been bad gas or something like that, but I have put many tanks through it since then! I replaced the fuel pump assembly about a year and a half ago, and am guessing that this would be my only other problem as far as I know! If you guys could maybe give me any other chance of it being something easier than that, PLEASE LET ME KNOW! thanx DF Dudes!

I am not aware of any fuel filter other than that on the fuel pump? I would think that if it were the filter, it would cut out all of the time. It only starts sputtering below a half a tank
