Default Dodge Durango - pinhole in water pump

I was hoping someone might be able to help here. My in laws have a Dodge Durango and had the dealer replace the water pump 2yrs ago. Within the past few days they have noticed puddles of antifreeze on the driveway. I took a look at it last night and it seems that a pinhole has developed in the pump housing. Does that seem like a casting problem? Called the dealer and they said they couldn't help - I believe a pump should last longer that 2yrs (especially at dealer rates!). I can see if it was cracked which might be from too much heat or stress but a pinhole? I was thinking of writing the manufacturer for my inlaws (elderly, limited income) and see what they have to offer. Anyone know of any bulletins addressing this issue or have any advice? Thanks
