Default Intrepid CVC problem

Greetings;

I have a 95 intrepid that started shaking in the front left side. Dudes at work mentioned that it's the CVC joint and to replace the whole shaft.
The wheel is tight lug nut wise and I cannot see anything else loose in the front end. When driving it will start when I acelerate and if I sterr to the left it will stop for a few but will start again. If I drive in a circle it will not do it.
I would have no problem with the shaft replacement skill wise but just want to be sure about it due to funds. Also due to funds I cannot take it in to a mech at this time.

Any help would be great.

Scott

you need to have someone look at your inner tie rod ends & subframe mounts before you drive it any more!!!

Greetings;

Only problem JCswm is that this is my only car and I have little to no money until the 1st.
I only drive about 5 miles to work and am off this week.

Any self inspection tips to get me thru?

make a few phone calls some places will offer a free safety inspection in hopes that they will sell you a service of course but they can give you an idea of whats wrong. not all places offer it but i know the co i work for does and we get alot of them.
