A crossthreaded sparkplug although a PITA to fix should not cause a misfire, I suspect whoever changed your plugs switched some wires around, easy to check firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2...#1 is the first one on the driver side. All the driver plugs plugs are odd 1-3-5-7, passenger side are 2-4-6-8. The dist rotation is clockwise and #1 should be toward the passenger side front. Just start at where #1 is plugged in to the dist cap and go around making sure they are plugged in to the correct spark plug. If all that checks OK, pay the dealer.

Hey RamGal, U can do it yourself... its not terribly hard, but Id suggest to make sure its running like it should be that you take it to a professional! I had a problem like that.. it ended up being a nasty fuel pump, but anyways... the only way to make sure your dodge is running at its maximum efficiency is to let someone who really knows how it should be working, take a look at it. Id suggest CALLING EVERYWHERE first.. explain the situation to the mechanic, just tell him you ALREADY know where the problem lies, and what needs to be done to fix it and stuff... eventually youll find a nice place, where the guys are honest and they will fix it up no problem, with less than an arm and a leg! NEVER EVER EVER take your truck to a place like Mieneke or jiffy lube... those big corporate chains sacrifice quality work for QUANTITY, and they suck! Hope it helped ya...

Stay away from Firestone/Goodyear chains as well. Find a non-chain garage that's been around for a long time. Check with the BBB as well and try to talk with other customers.
Good Luck! [sm=smiley9.gif]
