Hello, was wondering if it was OK to replace the 80w90 in my Dana 60 with
75w90 synthetic?

Also, any particular brand of gear lube you folks recommend?

Any info is greatly appreciated.

 

I have been running 75w90 synth. in mine for a while with no ill effects so far. If you have a limited slip remember to add the "secret sauce" If you tow with your van you my want to use 75w140 synth. My owners mannual makes that recomendation.
