Looking for help as to what would cause this and if this is why my battery light is on also along with the Check engine light. I called my local dealer and they said I need to get this into the shop right away?? Car still runs and starts fine. I am guessing there is some sensor down by the battery?? Any help would be appreciated.

 

There is a sensor in the battery box that tell the PCM the temp of the battery. It could effect other things and could mean you have other problems. Take the battery out and check the sensor.
