Default 2002 Ram rear end

Have a 2002 RAM with just over 30,000 miles. 4.7 quad cab, traction control, 2 wheel drive, automatic. On occassion I hear a grinding vibrating sound in the rear end. It only happens when making a sharp right turn from a stopped position. Anyone have or heard of the problem? Fixes? I didn't see any TSB's on it.

Hoss. Just taken a shot here.

Did you have your differential fluid changed lately, and is your rear a limited slip? If so, it sounds to me like maybe someone didn't add a bottle of friction modifier.

Hope this helps.

Have never changed rear end fluid. Not sure about the limited slip - have to look at original sticker. I thought it might be a king pin???
