Has anyone had or done this themselves and if so what did you accomplish? If you did it yourself what settings do you recommend?

 

dont think about reprogramming your own computer....spend the money and have it done right! you screw up one part of the programming then ur whole ride is going to be affected.

 

What do you have? if you have a truck try Hypertech. It is real easy to use. It asks questions, as "What size tires?" and other mods and will automatically adjust the computer to use with the mods,

 

Hey tech man, I have a 2003 3.9 Dakota 4wd. Should I bring it somewhere and what do I ask for to get it to run better for milage?

 

sorry. Hypertech doesn't make the programmer for your truck. Niether does Predator. As far as what to tell someone to program. They will be able to tell you that wherever you go. You tell them any Mods, as CAI, exhaust, tire size. And they can set, if you have an automatic, at what RPM's to shift.
