Default 2.5l Stalling..

First here is the low I own a stock '90 shadow es , mods to this is a '94 plymouth sundance motor, Mod 1 the egr selonoid was relocated from the fender well('90) to the seloniod on the egr itself(94), Mod 2 changed the '94 tps back to the 90's, so I wouldn't have to splice any connector wires. Mod 3 Power steering pump remained for the year '90, but eh '94 brackets had to be removed to install the '90's brackets.

Now based on some technical data i researched, the 90's motor used only 14-15 psi fuel pressure, however my '94 motor uses 37 psi fuel pressure. This is baffeling since I never changed the fuel pump, and the motor runs perfect throughout the entire tack, except...

The care has recently developed a stalling problem, but only at idle and only when the car has been sitting luke wam/ cold, this problem has progressed to doing when in gear at lights or generally when stopped.

I don't know where to start looking to trace this problem, or even if it is a common thing.. I would greatly appreciate any info even shots in the dark would be helpful..

All fuel injected engines will have some sort of Idle Air Control or Motor. They open up a little to prevent stalling on deceleration and control idle speed. Other possibilty might be a bad Vehicle Speed/Distance Sensor or a bad Coolant Temperature Sensor. You might also try running a can of SeaFoam through the gas tank to help clean out the injectors and carbon. NAPA or CarQuest will have it. www.seafoamsales.com
