So, I bought new slotted drilled rotors for my front brakes. Does anyone know if there is any special tool required for removing the ABS link to the front brakes? Is the ABS even an issue for changing the front brakes on my car? I need the replace the pads and the put on the new rotors.

 

I don't believe the abs will be an issue for you. Just remember to use the proper seasoning method when breaking in you new rotors and pads. Doing this will greatly reduce the chances of warping or cracking of the rotors.
