Default Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump or OEM?

Will a walbro 255lph fuel pump work in my tank or should I stick with the high priced OEM pump? If I can go with the Walbro, how much of a difference will it make? Will it burn a lot more gas, add hp, blow up, ...? Thanks for the help. Reply only if you know what you are talking about. This is important and I need no experience deficient opinions.

Unless your going with power adders there really is no sense in going bigger then stock. your fuel system can only supply so much with stock injectors. Why not just go to advanced or some place and get an oem replacement such as one that walbro makes.

The first and the last time I used a aftermarket fuel pump I replaced it twice before going back to the OEM pump. I would rather put the right pump in the first time than have to do a job twice. The pump I used was not a "Walbro" but if your after more fuel pressure you'll have to replaced or alter the regulator and than you may run into a rich fuel mixture problem.

I agree, unless you are going to do some decent mods to the truck there is no need for the walpro. It is not going to do anything at all for you with out some fuel mods.
