Thought I'd throw this out and hope for the best! We have an older Dodge, an '88 Colt Vista Wagon 4x4. We rebuilt the tranny and everything worked fine on the bench. However, when driving the car we lose 5th gear and can't get it back without shutting the car off. This happens after it has warmed up - within the first 5-15 minutes. We've been working on the vacuum lines and have replaced some of the parts (vac canisters), but to no avail. Our book doesn't even have vacuum diagrams [:@]. This is a cool car and perfectly versatile for where we live, but we're about ready to junk it out of frustration! Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
