Default Help......Neon Shimmy

I have a 95 Neon Highline auto with an unusual shake. Have checked and replaced
old cvg joints and motor mounts. I just replaced the tires today because my mechanic
said there were delams showing in the old ones(which still had plenty of tread) and....
the shimmy is still there. It starts at 33mph and goes away at about 40mph. It's a
weird kind of slight side to side shimmy(for lack of better words) and not a shake.
I comes up and then goes away and never seems to change intensity. Oh yes, I also
replaced some worn tie rod ends.

Any ideas?????? TIA for any help.

Frank

Do you have steel wheels? If so, did you check to see if they are straight? Even a small bend or dent can cause a vibration.
