hey guys, i'm new here... and i've got a question. i have a 93 dakota and today i had a lil problem w/ it. i went into the store to get a few things and when i came out and started her up, she had no lights and no dash lights. anyone know what could possibly be wrong here? also, the abs light keeps comin' on and i don't know why... ??? thx in advance.

 

Wow... this is a real general problem... first check all your fuses, turn on your lights and check the wires under the dash for looseness... If two wires are crossed one being on the ABS circuit, it will fault both circuits, meaning throw the ABS code and stop your lights from functioning. Check your wires and check your fuses... LMK!

yeah... i checked all the fuses already.. i did that last night... and it was too dark and i didn't really have time to check wires. i'll do that today and see what i come up w/. thx a bunch. and i know... it really was a general question.... <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0">

 

LOL! Duh... I know!!! LOL!I just meant that's hard to trace without being right there... it's sort of hit or miss when troubleshooting here. LOL! Anything else odd happen since it began?
