Default Brakes trouble

Hi,

I bought in july this year a Dodge RAM 1500, 1998 sport 4x4. Last month, when I wanted to stop to a light I felt my brake pedal going down and a ticking on it. I went to a garrage and they said that is the sensor from rear diff. I've got it replaced but the problem appeared in same day. I'm hitting the brakes, not hard, and I feel like the ABS is coming without being necessary. Some times after few stops like this the lights from ABS and brakes (together) are coming on but when I stop the engine and start it the lights are off. Sometimes when I stop in traffic if I keep the pedal pressed (after the truck stopped) I can still feel the ticking in the pedal.

If you encountered this problem please give me some directions because I can't go to a dealer right now, I'm pretty short.

Thank you!

If the lights are coming on, then the system has a fault code. I would pull codes and see what they are first. Just my 2c
