Hello list

I apologize posting an Eagle question on the Dodge forum...but, well, anyway.
I have a 95 Vision Tsi w/ auto climate control. These days the thing is possesed.
It will work fine for a while, thru several cylces of starting the car, etc., then the heater will come on by itself; that is, the fan will run and blow thru the defrost and floor vents. The controls do nothing and no lights are lit on the panel. Until recently I could sometimes get the unit to respond to the controls...by pushing a few different buttons the temp light would come on and normal control resume. Lately this does not work. Any ideas where to look?

Sounds like you have some gremlins. Electrical problems are a bitch. Best I can say is go trace wires, sorry.

 

Personally the first thing I'd do (after checking the fuses) is to replace the control unit. Maybe try to find one at a junk yard.
