We have a superclean 96 Dakota, 318 w/OD Auto, and the trans is smoked. We also have a 90 full size, 318 w/OD auto. They say the trans is different, in what way? Is there anyway to easily swap transmissions, good for bad, 90 full size to 96 Dakota? They take the same rebuild kit, and I think both are 727's. HELP!
