99 Stratus 2.4L no spark on cyl 2 and 3
99 Stratus 2.4L
Alright, this one's got me whipped. Car cranks but no start.
fuel pressure good.
has spark on Cyl 1 and 4 but not on 2 and 3......bad coil pack right??....nope.
replaced coil pack.....same problem
replaced both CMP and CKP.
Still no fire on 2 and 3..
checked voltage at coil connection and is greater than 90% of battery voltage.
Mitchell on Demand has no trouble shooting available w/o codes.
customer complaint -vehicle just died.
no engine codes were present. datastreaming shows spark advance at 9 degrees when "attempting" to start.
Please, help.

Maybe the old coil pack took out the driver circuit for 2 and 3 in the PCM? There are 2 driver circuits in the PCM...1 and 4 are on one of them and 2 and 3 are on the other. May need to check the wiring from the coil to the PCM. Also may find a used PCM at www.car-part.com
