OK. What sensor would kill the power to the fuel pump, or would the pcm control the power?

The Ecm sounds like it's doing what it is supposed at the moment and thats the relay clicking on and off for 2-3 seconds. Let's rule that out for now. Can you go to the truck and pull the fuel pump relay and look at the bottom of it and the top of the PDC where it mounts and see if there are any numbers stamped there...they would be like 85.86,87 and 30.

I found the diagram I was looking for. this should be a pic of your power distribution center under the hood. If not, tell me so.
With the key on check for voltage at slot #30(green) in the PDC with relay removed.

To send voltage back to the fuel pump you can place a wire in the terminal #87(yellow) and momentarialy touch the other end of the wire to a 12 volt source.

Thanks, I have to get ready for work anyway. I did try jumping across the the terminals in the pdc, but no juice getting back to the pump.

Do you hear the pump running? Based on it running perfect before putting the gas in, you may have contaminated fuel. Just my .02 cents

Checked the connector at the bottom of the fender and found the power was making it that far but wasn't getting to the pump. Spliced a new wire into the hareness from that point back to the pump and so far it's working.[sm=yeahsmile.gif]

Thanks for all the help! Wonder if anyone else has had wiring problems like that.
