own a 02 dakota.
.yesterday brake lights dont work,blinkers dont work.horn is gone and when I put vehicle in reverse the digital lights go out!
I changed fuses and relays but still having issue.
i have found rodent dropping in engine compartment,ive looked for chew areas ..
..no luck any other things i should look for?
also I have a bad habit of banging on the steering wheel "along with the radio"
could i have loosened something??

I would go with the rat, sounds like its a chewed wire.

 

Buy a few traps while you're at it...........
