Default Tire size?

I have an '02 2500 diesel 4x4. I currently have 265/75r16's on this truck. I want to put 305/70R16's on it. Does anybody see any problems that this might cause with steering, fuel consumption or having enough room to fully turn the tire without hitting the inner fender wells? This truck is not raised up at all. Thanks for your input.

Default RE: Tire size?

that is alot of tire! as far as steering, you may notice a little road walking as the truck will have a wider stance, gas mileage will slightly drop but prob not too much, turning it without hitting the fender wells, if it doesnt ill be surprised. but if you want to upgrade things like that you will have to sacrafice some things. tire rubbing and gas mileage being the main ones. i just put 18" wheels on my dakota with a hair to big of a tire and mine scrubs a little bit here and there. its your choice but ya got to sacrafice.
