Default RE: 73 van questions

I would guess you can IF you can find a doner van in the bone yard.. I had a 75 and would
guess 70- 78 would be about the same..

If you follow your vacuum lines you'll see all they do is run little vacuum motors.. I
would think removing the motors and putting the cables and its hardware in its place
is all you need..

Once a doner is found, you're gonna have to take a very close look at both yours
and the doners system and see if all you need is the cable system, controls and all
the cable hardware to make the swap. You *may* have to remove the complete
heating system from the doner to make it all work...

You're in for a lot of work... What is the problem with what you have now?

Good luck...

I would think that it would be easier to fix the system you have now. You don't need the A/C to work to keep everything working on vacuum. do the controls work at all for the heat?
When you said you need parts for your license plate lamp, is it #7 you are looking for?
It is part# 2958597 at Dodge, I'm not sure if it's available from them any more so call and find out. We should be able to find you some at a NOS(New Old Parts) dealer if your local Dodge guru cant supply them.
