Default Power to my cigarette lighter

I have a 2005 Dodge Neon SXT and would like to find a way to keep my lighter plug on at all times.
I have an old Pocket PC I use as a GPS but the battery is no so good. If I odo not keep some power running to it
the battery dies within 3 hours and I lose everything. Right now I have a 3 way splitter hooked up directly to the lighter.
Somone told me I would wire it directly to the fuse box but I really do not want to do that unless I have to.

Thanks

Your gonna have to wire it directly to the fuse block, battery, or some constant power source. There is no way to just flip a switch and have it on all the time. Just put a fuse in the circuit just after you connect it to the constant power and you will be fine, its not that hard of a job.
