Default P 0711 Code

Hi!

I have a 1996 Dodge Dak 3.9 V6 Automatic. 90K miles. My question is-- I checked to see if there were any codes and it came up with a P0711 code "Transmission Fluid temperature sensor circuit, range or performance." What does this mean and what do I need to do to fix or correct it? Thanks!

Check the wiring at the temp sensor and/or replace the sensor.

Thanks for the response. Where is this sensor located? Is it hard to replace? Is it very expensive to replace? Can you get it from any auto parts store?

Thanks!
