Default Having some problems

Ok i own a 93 dodge shadow, 2dr, 4 cyl. auto
it seems to have ptoential to start, it will turn but there is no fire...what could it be...the coil is new the distribot cap is new, all the plugs and wires are new...it is getting gas cause i can flood the engine(did that on accident) I am no mechanic, but that would have to be wiring right? could i check it with hand-held tester. I got a guy down the road that is how you say...one of them sterotypical redneck mechanics with his 3rd grade edjimication that still knows more about cars then me...but i can do anything i have tried so far...so i guess give me some ideas how to go about getting this puppy to fire and go...atleast fire.....i can get the go part later when i get to it. Any help is greatly honored...and if thier are any 3rd grade education mechanics out there...sorry if i insulted you, all opinions are welcome.

Replace the ECM under the distributor cap.(electronic control module)
I fixed one before that drove me nuts because the car ran great until it got all nice and warmed up then stalled out and would be down again.
Make sure you clean any corrosion from the inside posts of the cap and rotor-sandpaper works great.
