Clunk in the back!!
Sorry folks. I used the search but can't find any info on this problem.
I've got a '94 Grand Caravan that makes a loud "clunking" sound from the back (I think) when I go around L & R corners.
I put on new rear shocks but it didn't help.
I've heard rumors that there's a TSB out on this but I can't pin anything down.
Does this sound familiar to any body?
Thanks,
OT

All the TSB's I see are for noises in the front
I have seen the welds come undone in the rear axle causing a noise
look inside your rear axle from underneath..... you'll see a round bar inside that's about an inch in diameter
Take a hefty screwdriver and try to move that bar, It's welded in place at the ends and should NOT move!!
You might want to sit in the back & have someone elese drive to make sure the noise is in the rear.
