First off, i'd like to say hello to everyone on this site, hence my first post. HI


I used to own a 96 ram w/ a 360 in it, but I sold it to my buddy and purchased a 96 dakota w/ a 318. Would anyone know what transmission is in my dakota its an automatic, my ram had a 46RE in it, would my dakota have a 45RE or a 44RE, or perhaps it has a 46RE (that would be nice) I put 180000 on that 46RE and had no problems, I was going to throw a shift kit in, but I sold the truck b4 I put the kit in, I sold the kit along w/ the truck.

One other thing, since I sold the ram to by buddy, I was just wondering what would happen if we swaped heads? would there be a gain of some factor for both trucks, like a hp gain fror the 318 AND a torque gain for the 360? or would the smaller head just "weaken" the 360?
