I have a 1990 gran caravan it has a 3.3.
It runs good but the transamission willnot shift out of low gear any ideal what is wrong.

It could be a sensor problem.I had the limp home mode locked into my wife's 92 van and changing the sensor fixed the problem.This sensor is located on the top side of the transmission,between the cooler lines.It takes a 1 inch socket or wrench to remove.The dealer has upgraded sensors for about $20.At least that's what I paid for mine.
