What costs $800, is sporty looking, but behaves badly? A MAGNAFLOW exhuast system for the 5.7 Hemi. I had it put on Friday, hated it by Saturday, and called M/F and got the "too bad" rep. I told them they should post a DRONE SOUND next to their sound clips. To be somewhat fair, the system is quieter than the stock 2006 Charger Daytona system, not as throaty, looks prettier (it should for eight hundred bucks), but has one fatal flaw -- when the MDS kicks in, the inside cabin drone noise drives you right out of the car. You can actually HEAR the MDS kicking in and out, not feel it! The only way I found to stop it was to kick the transmission into 5th gear instead of Drive to stop the MDS from working... It's darn hard to beat the engineers at Mopar. Good job guys...!

 

wow, love mine, better than flowmaster, have a 2005 hemi ram quad......no MDS though.....no drone either.....defective?
