Bleed Avenger 2.5L Fuel Line??
IF anyone knows how to do this, please let me know i dont know what im doing and i am pretty sure that when i ran out of gas i got air in the line. So if anyone knows how to do this, let me know, i own a 97 Dodge Avenger 2.5L V6.
Wait a minute...air? The only thing about that is that, it's a constant purge. Air is removed at the injectors or back to the gas tank. You have fuel flowing through those lines all the time, I don't see how you have an air bubble got stuck in there, unless there's a kink in the line or your fuel filter is full. There's enough pressure in the fuel lines to purge air.
I don't think you have air in the line, sounds like there's something else going on...like gas tank debris clogging your fuel line, filter, injectors, fpr, return line.
As you got closer to empty, you start sucking in fuel from the bottom of the tank and there are pieces of dirt and debris that find it's way into the gas tank then into the fuel line. That's what it sounds like to me.
