Default where's the filter?

It's hot outside and I don't wanna crawl around on the ground. Can anybody give me an idea where the oil filter is on the 3.5L H.O. engine? Oh, and the oil pan/drain plug too :/

You're going to have to crawl around on the ground when you change your oil anyway bud.
Most of the time you can see your oil filter while looking under the hood.

I know, but it doesn't need an oil change yet and when it does, I intend to do it early in the morning before it gets hot[8D]

Oh, and I forgot to mention - there's still bits of glass lying around from where my last car got totalled.

I used to have a GMC Sonoma, and changing the oil was SO easy. The oil filter was at the top of the engine compartment, at the very front, on the driver's side. The only drawback: oil getting spilled all over the wheel well when you changed the filter.

Okay, so it's cooled off some outside, and I pulled into the driveway and spent 30+ minutes crawling around looking for it. I finally found it, just barely, on the driver's side between two beams on the frame. It sticks out at an odd angle, and there's no way I'll be able to get to it without jacking the car up (which I kinda figured anyway). I'm not in any big hurry to change it, since the car was serviced about 50 miles before I bought it, and the oil looks pretty new, but I was just curious where it was.

And there's no way to see it AT ALL from the top side of the engine - the view is completely blocked by the exhaust.
