I recently got a 2000 dak QC with 150k 5.9 auto. The dealer put in a new trans before I bought it. I friend suggested that I out an "in-line" filter to the system. He said it is a braket with in/out on top for the trans fluid lines and an oil filter below. Has any one done or heard of this? (my friends truck is a 85 F150 with over 300k and no trans problems, so he might be on to something).
