I have a 1998 Dodge Durango 4X4 with a locked engine. I want to swap the engine out with a 2001 5.2L Dodge Ram engine, but need to know what's involved before I delve in. Do I need to remove major components such as front differential, or transmission before I can get it out. My engine is locked up, so I cant separate the engine thrust plate from the torque converter. Looks like a tight fit, so If any of you can give some insight, I would certainly appreciate it.
