Default glazed belt

OK i have a belt that is glazed on the outside. it doesn't come in any contact with pulleys or w/e the inside section that does is perfectly fine. why would the outside be glazed. should i change it? it does seem to squeal a little when first turned on in the cold. other then that it is fine. i think the squeak is from the crankshaft pulley wobbling a little. how do i deal with that? thanks.

anyone ever use the Goodyear gatorback or w/e belts. are those any good?

Hey Nick, do a full check on that belt! I don't understand why it would not make contact with anything and still be glazed. I bet the backside makes contact on a tensioner pulley. Check all the pulleys and really try to make them move.
IMO, change that crankshaft pulley! Wobbling from a pulley isn't good.

Crankshaft wobble is definitely bad [:'(]

Also, the majority of members over on the Grand Prix boards use Gatorback belts. They're a good belt!
