I have a 2003 SRT-4 and just recently I noticed my car is not boosting all the way up. the max I get is 7 pounds of boost and it sometimes backfires when I step on the gas . The only moods I have installed are a K&N typhoon intake and a mopar down pipe. What could be my problem? I would much appreciate any help!

 

Sounds like a boost leak. Make sure none of the IC piping got knocked out of place or accidentally loosened. Then boost leak test it.
