Some times my Gear shift slips from drive to neutral and then when i put it back in it gets stuck in gear.really annoying. but it is a relatively new transmission from 3-5 years ago. that was when it was put in. maybe im leaking trans. fluid?

 

The shifter itself is mechanical linkage and your symtom is usually caused by bad engine mounts.
