Dodge Dynasty does not shift into top gear
I have a 1990 Dodge Dynasty LS that will shift up 1st & 2nd gear but just sits there and will not go further.
I have been told it may be the gearbox speed sensor...... any ideas

I replaced the speed sensor in my wife's 92 minivan and that cleared up the problem of no upshifts.The tensioner is held on with a bolt going in through the center.I think.I don't know about your particular engine.
