I currently have a 94 dodge ram 1500 slt with a 5.2L motor, the transmission is rough, its an automatic, and it shifts up a little roughly, but when you come to a stop from a high gear, it dosent like to downshift, and causes it to stall. I thought that it could have something to do with the torque converter, but im not sure. any help is appreciated

Solenoid or solenoids might be bad. see if there are any codes given out but otherwords might need a overhaul or just solenoid replacment.

 

Could be a bad comverter clutch that isnt disengaging also.
