heater/ac blower not working
2003 Dodge Dakota, blower doesn't work. Went to turn it on and it doesn't work. I checked the fuse. Any other thing that it could be before I go to dealer or pull the motor??? Any help is great help!!![:@] If there is a resistor where would I find it? I read some other posts and the resistor is mentioned alot. Can't find it. HELP AGAIN!!!!
Chances are it is the control unit itself. There is a resistor for the motor and i belive it is contained in the heater control unit. As a matter of fact i had mine replaced under warranty and now it is doing the same thing nothing but high. Chances are it is the heater controls.
Well I took it to the dealer and it was the resistor. As I asked before where the heck is it????? It was a $10 part. Luckly it was under warranty. I would like to know for future use. Please help!!!!1
thats kinda funny, mine just went out yesterday. like dodgerules said, its on the passenger side in the foot well area. when you look up you'll see the blower motor and 2 connections. 1 is for the blower its just a 2 pin connector. the other is a 5 pin connector. disconnect that and unscrew the 2 hex screws on the side, it will fall right into your hand. thats it. 5min. hope it helps.
