Default Cam Degreeing question

Hello everyone. Im OH and blueprinting my 1999, 318. Well it is not a 318 anymore, it is a 323. However, I am degreeing my cam. I have two dial indicators and a degree wheel setup. When im finding TDC, I zero the degree wheel, find the highest point on the cam lobe. Do I measure the degrees when im at the begining, middle,or end of the duration?

I don't know much about degreeing cams. I usually just line up the dots and call it good. But crane has a good write-up on it here: http://www.cranecams.com/?show=article&id=3
