Default Aftermarket Alarms

Just a wonder, do aftermarket alarms, maybe a bit older ones Mess up things a lot? My car, if anyone reads Daytona forum is going berzerk with random break downs and problems, finally got it going again new starter and some elec problems fixed, not even 24 hours later it's right f__ked again. Pardon the lang but I'm right pissed, this car is dying far too often, litterally 3 times a week or more all month so far. My dad is a used car salesmen and he's been saying a lot of the vehicals with aftermarket alarms are having problems starting sometimes aswell but when they're out they're fine. Can a malfunctioning alarm make it to the point where the car can only start if it's rolling and cause it to sometimes bog down really fast and die a lot and so on? It's driving me nuts and I can't afford to keep fixing this crap! Is the alarm possibly messing with the computer or anything to cause these probs?!
