Default Alternator bearing problem

I dont get it. Some days when i start up my car the bearing (the middle of the pulley) on the alternator squeels and doesnt stop. It will quit when i spray something like WD-40 on it. What do you think could be my problem, or do i just need a new altnernator pulley. And I am sure it is not the belts squeeling, it is the bearing.

Default RE: Alternator bearing problem

the WD-40 is probably stopping a belt noise
replace the belt first. and never spray chemicals on belts.
Does anyone know of a forum similar to this one but for Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep Dealer techs only?
