Default help! cd stuck.

OK I just got an 06 Ram 1500 Quad cam Big Horn Edition with a Hemi and I absolutely love it. I have had it for ONE WEEK and my cd is stuck in the player. Does anyone know how I could possibly get it out without going to the damn dealership? My cd won't play, won't come out and just won't do anything. Please help!

honestly, no... go to the dealer and have them replace the whole unit. My radio has refused to play CDs when in extreme weather... this winter up at school it was sitting for a week in 10 degree weather it wouldnt work. Now in the summer it wont work when it is 100 degree weather...

Some stock radios have a reset button feature, if not, you can try and disconnect the ground on the battery for a minute or so. Doing this, you will reset everything to include the ECU and TCM and your truck may run rough for several miles, then again, it may not. Mine did that when it was brand new too and that's what I did to resolve my issue...I hope that works for ya

Oh yeah, it doesn't or won't hurt your truck either...and welcome to DF.

Go to the "damn dealership" ?? that's what there for. You have a bad radio, the damn dealer will send it out for repair or replace it. And go buy another damn cd.
Does anyone know of a forum similar to this one but for Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep Dealer techs only?
