I've recently acquired a '97 Ram 2500 4x4 and not too long ago decided to pull a trailer. Needless to say I was disappointed when the found the adaptor on my truck for the trailer lights was only a two prong connector and the trailer I was pulling had the 7 prong RV plug. Has anyone else had this issue , and if so, any suggestions on what to do? Is there any other solutions other than wire up an entirely new 7 prong harness? Thanks!

 

Nope...if it's a 7 pin RV, you need to wire in a 7 pin RV. The only other option would be to get a towing package harness and wire it up the way it would come from the factory.
