Tranny ID
I posted this in the durango forum but thought I might get more help here.
I just dropped the tranny pan on my 2000 Durango to change the filter and fluid. I was going to adjust the bands. I always thought I have a 46re tranny. I had to run to NAPA and while there asked them what tranny I had and they said it was either a 45re, or 47re. The band adjustment is different for every tranny. Does anyone know how to tell what tranny I have.
It is on a 2000 4x4 durango, 5.9L engine, 4 speed auto.
Thanks for any advice.
Thanks, Dave
