maintnence required idiot light reset?
Hello, I'm new to owning a Dodge, and new to the forum.
I have an 88 Dakota, and the maintnance required light is on, and I can't figure out how to reset it. Any help would be appreciated.

Wow... an '88 .... It's been awhile but.........
on the dash just to the right of the steering columm do you have a plastic cover that looks like it coveres a hole from an unused switch??? If so... pop the cover off and look inside 1-2 inches Straight back is a switch.... If it's up, flip it down. If it's down, flip it up.... Light off.....
OR
Above the drivers left foot, under the dash is a 2 wire connector with a short yellow wire plugged into both plugs .... remove the yellow Jumper wire .... light off
Anyone got a Book??????
