I purchased a 2004 Dodge Stratus three months ago. I am having problems with the horn unexpectly going off when stopping for a red light and stop sign. The horn also goes off while the car is parked in the driveway. It doesn't happen constantly, but at least 5 times daily. The dealership has worked on the problem three times and Chrylers Tech support has told the dealership that they are having similar problems with other models. The dealership has also told me that they have another customer in the same situation (another 2004 Stratus).
It seems like each time the dealership works on it, it resolves the issue for about three weeks. Then the cycle begins again.
The dealership has witnessed the horn beeping while the car was parked, so at least that was a good sign.
Has anyone else ever heard of this situation happening?
