Default cutting off

Why is it that my 1997 Dodge caravan cuts off on the road while I am driving for no reason at all?

Default RE: cutting off

You may have already fixed the problem, but one thing that V6 Caravans (Voyagers and TC's) have problems with is the Fast Idle Servo, located right on the throttle body. They may appear fine, but are stick occasionally because smog deposits jam the cone valve inside.

This however, may only apply to TBI (Throttle body injected) vans. I do not know if your van is a TBI or a MPI.
