Hey guys new to the forum. I was just interested if anyone knew if the srt 4 motor would drop into my conquest? I spun a rod bearing a couple months back and im tired of dealing with the 2.6 in these damn things. I know the srt 4 is a fwd and the conquest is rwd, so didnt know the trans i would use or if it would even work. Any help i would appriciate, im really interested in doing this just need the know how and if i can. Thanks guys.

 

Man, i wouldn't try it. unless you have loads of cash and time to do it.

Man, it would not work with anything in the conquest, you'd hafta change out alot of stuff! from the whole engine compartment to the rear end.

Try a difforent engine.

I read the 2.2s work and are the easiest, also I read that they still use the 2.6 in newer Isuzus, so maybe the newer ones would be better, the 3.0 Mitsu and dodges were RWD, you should check out those.
